Recently, GANGYOU Group's customized welded steel pipe supply project for South Africa is progressing smoothly. The first batch of specialized steel pipes, which have undergone shot blasting, anti-corrosion treatment, and waterline processing, has been completed.
As a significant example of China-South Africa capacity cooperation, the welded steel pipes supplied by GANGYOU Group are highly compatible with South African market demand. To address the hot and humid climate and the stringent corrosion resistance requirements of mining and energy projects, the group has upgraded its full-process processing technology. Automated shot blasting equipment uses high-speed steel shot to thoroughly remove surface oxides and weld slag, making it ideal for mining wastewater transportation and coastal photovoltaic power station pipeline construction in South Africa.
During the waterline processing phase, GANGYOU Group performs precise beveling and pressure testing on the steel pipe ends.
Currently, the group can produce pipes with diameters from DN200 to DN2200. Leveraging South Africa's infrastructure public-private partnership model, the group plans to further expand its pipeline supply market in the transportation and energy sectors.
The Chinese Economic and Trade Counselor in South Africa pointed out that GANGYOU Group's customized supply model provides a new template for Chinese companies to participate in African infrastructure construction - it not only leverages the advantages of China's manufacturing industry in process upgrades, but also accurately matches the personalized needs of local projects. This "technology + product" combination output is becoming a new growth point for China-South Africa economic and trade cooperation.
