Our carbon steel tread plate is produced in full accordance with the ASTM A36 standard. The carbon content of the base material is controlled within 0.22%, and the manganese content is maintained between 0.8-1.2%, ensuring that the plate has both sufficient strength and is easy to process. The surface pattern adopts two mainstream designs: willow leaf shape and diamond shape. The pattern height is 2.5-3mm, the pattern spacing is uniform (error ≤0.5mm), and the anti-slip coefficient reaches 0.85 or more in the ASTM F1677 standard, which is 60% higher than the anti-slip performance of ordinary flat plates.
The tensile strength of the 2.5mm thick checkered plate can reach 400-550MPa. In high-frequency use scenarios such as workshop floors and stair treads, the service life can exceed 8 years (ordinary carbon steel flat plates are less than 3 years). Moreover, our checkered plate costs 40% less per ton than the same specification stainless steel checkered plate. If purchased in bulk, the customer's terminal project budget can be saved a lot.
Two surface treatment methods are provided: hot-dip galvanizing and painting. The thickness of the hot-dip galvanized layer is guaranteed to be above 85μm (in accordance with ASTM A123 standard), and there is no red rust after 480 hours of salt spray test; the spray paint adopts double-layer treatment of epoxy primer + topcoat, the dry film thickness is ≥60μm, and the adhesion reaches 4B level or above of ASTM D3359.
In terms of cutting, the tolerance of CNC plasma cutting can be controlled at ±1mm. For a 1.5m wide plate, the straightness error does not exceed 1mm/m, which can fully meet the customer's subsequent welding or splicing accuracy requirements.
We have 3 fully automatic pattern rolling production lines, using reversible rolling mill technology, which can produce 15 tons of finished products per hour, and the annual production capacity is stable at 30,000 tons, ranking among the top eight similar factories in the European and American markets. The workshop always has more than 1,000-1500 tons of inventory, covering conventional specifications of 1.2mm-8mm thickness and 1220mm/1500mm width.
Each batch of plates must pass magnetic particle inspection (ASTM E709 standard) and hardness test (Brinell hardness 130-170HBW), and the test report will be shipped with the goods.
For carbon steel tread plate order exceeds 20 tons, you can enjoy a 5% bulk discount and free shipping to the nearest port. We guarantee that if the plate has non-artificial pattern shedding or rust area exceeds 5% within 1 year of normal use, we will reissue the same specification product free of charge. If it cannot be installed due to dimensional error, we will bear the round-trip shipping cost and reprocess it.
